CAPTIVITY IN FREEDOM

Many of us think that becoming a child of God will surely guarantee us freedom from all kinds of satanic yokes, curses and the like, this is not necessary but however, we lose sight of the principles fundamentals of freedom in Christ. Most of the time, we come to the Lord to receive the gains he can provide us whether material, financial, emotional or other and after a while we realize that we have obtained none of this and even if we have it, it seems like a stumbling block to us given the manifold consequences we reap from its ill-gotten blessings.

In his word the Lord recommends us to first seek the kingdom of heaven and his justice, then we will obtain as a reward all the blessings we need. God in his great goodness but also in his supremacy has established principles which one cannot do without if one wishes to obtain the blessing which comes from him. and it is not followed by any sorrow” this enables us to understand for sure that any blessing which involves tears of complaints or lamentations does not come from God; Thus we can see in Luke 15:11-24 the example of the prodigal son who one day decided to get rid of the authority of his father to go and enjoy his inheritance as he saw fit and who subsequently bitterly regretted his act. considering the inhuman consequences to which he was subjected; this example is the image of a certain child of God who approaches it to be blessed but who does not want to respect the rules that the Lord has established and when difficulties arise we begin to seek solutions which again are contrary to the will of God, or else we start to complain, we blame God. What we must understand is that God does not force anyone, he gave us free will, which is why he tells us in his word “I SET BEFORE YOU TWO PATHS, THAT OF DEATH AND THAT OF LIFE, BUT I ADVISE YOU TO CHOOSE LIFE” It is important for each of us to make a choice to serve God in all obedience or not even to approach him and to suffer the consequences in all freedom. which is good for all of us c It is that the Lord is loving, merciful and full of goodness that is why his hand is always outstretched ready to receive ours and he says to us: “IF YOU HEAR MY VOICE DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS” (Hebrews 4:7 ) today this word is addressed to me, to you in fact to all of us. But I ask you what are you going to do? Resist or give in to this voice calling you? Do not forget this voice, it is that of life, not just any voice but eternal life and absolute happiness. Take a moment re-examine your life but above all make a choice.
