The Church is full, but how many will enter the Kingdom?

The Church is full, but how many will enter the Kingdom?

THE URGENCY OF SPIRITUAL REVIVAL: ARE WE REALLY READY FOR CHRIST'S RETURN?
“Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” – Ephesians 5:14

We are living in times when the Church seems drowsy, lulled by an illusion of spiritual security. Many bear the name of Christ, pray, sing and serve, but how many truly walk with God? The hour is serious, and the Spirit of God is calling for a true revival.

1. THE ILLUSION OF SALVATION: BETWEEN APPEARANCE AND REALITY
In Matthew 25, Jesus tells us about the wise and foolish virgins. They all had lamps, they were all waiting for the bridegroom, but only those who had oil entered the wedding feast.

This parable confronts us with a troubling truth: you can be in the Church, preach, sing, evangelize, and still be rejected on the last day. Jesus made this clear:

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 7:21

The foolish virgins woke up too late. In the same way, many will realize too late that they never had a true relationship with God, only an appearance of godliness.

2. A FALSE ASSURANCE OF SALVATION: WHEN CHARISMA REPLACES WALKING WITH GOD
Today, we live in an age where appearing has taken over from being. Many believe they are saved because they serve in the Church, because they preach well, or because others speak well of them.

But God is not impressed by our eloquence or our religious activities. He looks at the state of our heart. The apostle Paul himself said:

“After I have preached to others, I myself may be disqualified.” – 1 Corinthians 9:27

If we do not walk in real intimacy with God, our outward commitment is worth nothing. What matters is not preaching Jesus, but living Jesus.

Nicodemus knew the law, but Jesus told him: “You must be born again.”
Judas walked with Christ, but he was never transformed.
The teachers of the law taught the Scriptures, but they rejected the Messiah.

Talking about God does not mean we have God within us. We can prophesy, drive out demons and perform miracles, and still be strangers to the heart of God.

3. WALKING OR MERE PROXIMITY? THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CHOSEN AND THE REJECTED
Enoch walked with God and was taken up. This man represents the image of the Church that will be taken up: those who are not content with a superficial Christianity, but who live a real relationship with God.

There is a great difference between:
Walking with God (intimacy, transformation, consecration).
Being merely close to the things of God (church, service, Bible knowledge).

Being in church does not guarantee being taken up.
Preaching does not guarantee being saved.
Speaking in tongues does not guarantee God's approval.

In Luke 17:34-36, Jesus says:

“Two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. Two will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.”

This means that within the Church itself, two groups exist. They all bear the name of Christ, but not all truly belong to Him.

4. WHO WILL YOU MEET AT THE END: YOUR BRIDEGROOM OR YOUR JUDGE?
On the last day, two realities will present themselves:

The wise virgins will meet their Bridegroom and enter into glory.
The foolish virgins will meet their Judge and be rejected.
The question is simple: who will you meet?

There is no point in pretending. It is better to examine ourselves today and make sure our life is truly anchored in Christ. For eternity will put everything in its place:

Eternity will reveal who was genuine and who was pretending.
Eternity will show who truly walked with God and who was playing a role.

We are living at the dawn of Christ's return. It is no longer the time to pretend to be Christians, but to be truly transformed.

5. THE URGENCY OF SPIRITUAL REVIVAL: A CALL TO ACTION
“Let the one who is holy continue to be holy. Let the one who is filthy continue to be filthy.” – Revelation 22:11

Revival must not be a mere slogan. It must be a deep and radical change.

Revival begins with us.
Revival begins with the pastors.
Revival begins with a sincere return to God.

We must return to an authentic Christian life, built on the life of Christ and a real relationship with God. For it is not the number of years in church that counts, but the depth of our walk with Christ.

Are you ready?
Do you have oil in your lamp?
If Christ returned today, would you be taken or left behind?

CONCLUSION: ONE LAST CALL
We are at the hour of choices. Either we decide to take God seriously now, or we wait, at the risk of waking up too late, like the foolish virgins.

Time is running out. Christ's return is imminent.

There is no use having the appearance of godliness if we do not have God within us.
It is time to return to an authentic walk with Jesus.

“Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” – Revelation 2:7

Make the decision today to walk with God. For tomorrow may be too late.

Let us pray together for a true revival in this season, in our lives and in the church!
