RESTORING POWER TO WIN THE NATIONS THROUGH THE GOSPEL

RESTORING POWER TO WIN THE NATIONS THROUGH THE GOSPEL

We live in a generation where the Church faces many challenges. While darkness seems to be gaining ground, certain realities that should characterize God’s people seem to have lost their place: power, spiritual authority, holiness, consecration and the tangible manifestation of God’s presence.

The enemy takes advantage of the absence of power to act in society and even to infiltrate the Church. While we multiply teachings, programs, concerts, shows, technical resources and activities, certain realities keep advancing in our generation.

The question, then, is not simply whether the Church has programs, teachings or good organization. The fundamental question is whether the power of God is truly present and manifested in our midst.

God is looking for men and women who are not merely people who talk about Him, but who truly become a dwelling place of God on earth, instruments through whom His presence can touch people, set captives free and manifest His kingdom.

1. The need to restore power

The Church can have beautiful teachings, excellent theology, lovely voices, great concerts, well-organized programs, cameras, screens and plenty of resources.

But none of these things can replace the power of God.

The problem is not that the teachings are bad.

The problem is not that theology is useless.

The problem is not that programs or technical resources are bad.

The real problem appears when all these things exist without the power of God.

While we expand our activities, the enemy keeps working in the lives of young people, in families and in society. He seeks to destroy a generation through drugs, immorality, prostitution, divisions and various forms of oppression.

That is why God is looking for men and women who can become instruments of His presence.

He is looking for people through whom His love, holiness, purity, integrity, character, light and revelation can be manifested on earth.

2. God is looking for a dwelling place

God is not only looking for people who call on Him.

He is looking for people who become His house, His dwelling place, the place where His presence can abide and be manifested.

A person who becomes a dwelling place of God also becomes a channel through whom God can touch people.

Through such a person, God can reach the sick, the captives, the rejected, those considered unworthy and those who are far from Him.

God’s presence must therefore not be a mere theological notion.

It must become a tangible reality in the lives of those who belong to Christ.

God wants to manifest His kingdom through men and women who are wholly devoted to Him.

Some dimensions of God’s plan remain unexpressed because some people do not have the spiritual capacity needed to carry and manifest what God wants to entrust to them.

3. Power requires capacity

Many of the things we ask God for are already part of His plan.

However, some realities of God’s plan require spiritual capacity to be carried and manifested.

The example of Jesus helps us understand this principle.

For about thirty years, Jesus lived within the natural process of human growth. Although He is the Son of God, He did not begin His public ministry right away.

He grew.

He was formed.

He grew in wisdom, in stature and in favor.

The power that was to be publicly manifested in His ministry appeared at the right time.

This teaches us an important truth: preparation is needed before certain manifestations of God’s purpose.

We can receive a revelation, but we must also develop the capacity needed to carry it.

We can receive a mystery, but we must be able to keep it, understand it and administer it properly.

Jesus Himself told His disciples that He still had many things to say to them, but that they were not yet able to bear them.

There is therefore a relationship between the revelation received and the capacity developed to carry it.

4. Spiritual capacity can be developed

Spiritual capacity is not something we simply possess automatically.

It is developed.

It grows as we remain before God.

There is a capacity to stay in God’s presence, to be silent before Him, to lose track of time and to develop a sensitivity to His presence.

The more this capacity increases, the more our ability to receive God’s presence, listen to His voice and discern spiritual realities grows.

God’s presence must therefore not be only an occasional experience.

It must gradually become an environment to live in.

God’s voice should not be a rare experience that we eagerly wait for.

For the one who continually abides in God’s presence, hearing God becomes a normal dimension of his spiritual walk.

God’s presence and God’s voice are closely linked.

The more we learn to abide in His presence, the more we develop our ability to discern His voice.

5. Capacity determines receptiveness

Jesus teaches that new wine is not put into old wineskins.

This image reveals a spiritual principle: the capacity of the container determines what it can receive and hold.

Imagine pouring five liters of water into a container that can only hold half a liter. The problem is not the water. The problem is the capacity of the container.

In the same way, some people receive a visitation from God, an anointing or a revelation, but are unable to keep it.

They experience something for a time, then that reality disappears from their lives.

This is not necessarily because God did not give.

It is sometimes because the capacity to receive and sustain what has been given has not yet been developed.

We therefore need to know our current capacity and compare it to the capacity required to enter the dimension God is calling us to manifest.

When we understand this, we stop passively waiting for things to happen.

We begin to work on our spiritual capacity.

6. The anointing must be able to remain

When a person is strongly anointed, the anointing can be felt around them.

Sometimes we sense something simply by walking into a place where someone carrying a strong dimension of God’s presence is.

However, feeling an anointing does not necessarily mean being able to keep it.

Just as a perfume can cling to a person for a moment before fading, some spiritual experiences can be felt without becoming a permanent reality in our lives.

So the real question is not only:

“Have I ever experienced the power of God?”

The question is:

“What capacity have I developed to carry and sustain what God has given me?”

7. The experience of powerlessness can become a school

There are moments that reveal our weakness and our spiritual inability.

These moments can be painful, but they can also become defining moments in our growth.

The author of the message tells how certain experiences in worship ministry, in prayer and in spiritual battles revealed his limits to him.

He had prayed, fought and used everything he knew, but some situations did not change.

These experiences made him understand that spiritual activity does not necessarily guarantee spiritual authority.

We can talk a lot.

We can pray a lot.

We can know a lot.

But the power of God’s kingdom is not limited to words.

Paul reminds us that the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.

8. Spiritual power requires inner growth

Some situations go beyond man’s natural abilities.

They demand a deeper spiritual dimension.

The message stresses that some spiritual confrontations cannot be resolved by words alone or by repeating formulas.

True spiritual capacity is needed.

That is why the inner life is essential.

Someone who continually feeds his flesh does not develop the same spiritual sensitivity as someone who feeds his spirit.

Spiritual warfare is also a confrontation of spiritual realities.

It is therefore not enough to know the right words.

We must develop the spiritual person able to carry the necessary authority.

9. Spiritual authority is greater than a title

In the kingdom of God, a title is one thing, but spiritual reality is another.

We can have a title.

We can hold a position.

We can have a seat or a role in an organization.

But the real question is:

In which spiritual realm do we actually operate?

We are not all at the same level of maturity, capacity or spiritual authority.

This does not mean some people are worth more than others.

It simply means that spiritual growth produces different capacities.

True authority therefore does not come from a title alone.

It comes from the life of God developed in us.

10. Seeking God rather than only seeking experiences

After discovering our own limits, the answer must not be to look for more methods.

The answer is to seek God.

There is a difference between seeking the things of God and seeking God Himself.

We can pray for hours and yet remain shallow in our relationship with God.

We can multiply spiritual activities without developing a true capacity to carry God.

Our priority must therefore be to seek God.

When we truly seek God, we gradually develop the capacity to carry His presence.

There is a dimension in which what we are and what we carry becomes an expression of God.

It is no longer simply a person who talks about God.

It is a person through whom God can manifest Himself.

11. God dwells in people

One of the great revelations of the message is this truth:

God dwells in people.

When someone truly devotes their time, their life and their whole person to God, they gradually become an instrument through whom God can manifest His power.

Time given to God produces spiritual capacity.

Consecration enables us to receive what we cannot produce naturally.

There is then a dimension in which the supernatural begins to become natural in the life of someone who walks deeply with God.

Situations that would normally require long interventions can be confronted with much greater spiritual authority.

The goal is not to glorify man.

The goal is to demonstrate that God can dwell in man and act through him.

12. God’s power must answer impossible situations

The current generation needs to see a Church capable of responding to difficult situations.

There are medical, physical, spiritual and social situations that go beyond human abilities.

The message recounts several testimonies of people facing extremely difficult situations who experienced the power of God.

These testimonies should not simply inspire admiration.

They should remind us that God is able to act beyond natural limits.

God’s power can defy what seems impossible to man.

The goal, however, is not to chase the spectacular.

The goal is to maintain a life deep enough with God to be available when an impossible situation arises.

13. Never think we have arrived

After seeing miracles, there is a danger: starting to think we have reached the summit.

Seeing the sick healed, people set free or impossible situations transformed can give us the impression that we have arrived.

But we must always remain in the excellence of God’s presence.

There is always another dimension of God to discover.

That is why we must keep seeking God.

We must keep developing our spiritual capacity.

We must keep deepening our communion with Him.

True spiritual maturity includes remaining aware that we still need to grow.

14. The devil does not target everyone in the same way

The message also draws our attention to the attacks that can accompany certain destinies.

In the Bible, some people were targeted in a particular way from childhood or along their journey.

Moses was targeted.

Jesus was targeted.

Joseph faced many attacks.

This teaches us that some attacks can be linked to a particular destiny.

So we should not always interpret struggles superficially.

When a person continually goes through certain forms of opposition, they should also ask what God wants to accomplish through their life.

This does not mean every difficulty is automatically a spiritual attack.

But it does mean we must learn to discern the spiritual stakes of our destiny.

15. God is looking for men and women for this generation

This brings us back to the initial problem.

Our generation does not just need more words.

It needs power.

It does not just need more teachings.

It needs an authentic manifestation of God’s presence.

It does not just need beautiful programs.

It needs men and women who truly become dwelling places of God on earth.

God is looking for people through whom He can manifest His love, holiness, purity, integrity, character, light and revelation.

He wants to make His people a channel through which His presence can reach those who suffer, those who are captive and those who are far from Him.

16. Offering your life to God

The response to this call is consecration.

Paul writes:

“Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”

Power must not become a pursuit of personal prestige.

It must be the fruit of a life offered to God.

We must be ready to give our time, our energy, our desires, our ambitions and our whole selves to the Lord.

It is not simply a matter of asking:

“Lord, give me Your power.”

We must also be able to say:

“Lord, take my life and use it for Your purpose.”

The more we surrender to God, the more available we become to carry what He wants to manifest.

Conclusion: a generation that carries God

The real challenge of this generation is not to produce more religious activities.

The real challenge is to restore the power of God in the life of the Church.

We need a generation that is not content to talk about God, but that carries God.

A generation that is not content to know the Bible, but that manifests the character of Christ.

A generation that does not only seek miracles, but seeks God.

A generation that does not depend only on titles and positions, but develops true spiritual authority.

A generation that abides in God’s presence.

A generation that develops the capacity to receive, carry and sustain what God entrusts to it.

God is looking for men and women who become His house on earth.

He is looking for people through whom His kingdom can touch the nations.

He is looking for people who can carry His love, holiness, purity, integrity, light and revelation.

So the question is no longer only:

“Lord, what do You want to do?”

But also:

“Lord, what capacity must I develop to carry what You want to do through me?”

For some dimensions of God’s plan are waiting for men and women able to carry them.

So let us seek God.

Let us abide in His presence.

Let us develop our spiritual capacity.

Let us devote ourselves wholly to Him.

And let us become instruments through whom God can restore His power and reach the nations through the Gospel.

“Here am I. Send me.”

“I have come to do Your will.”
